Do I need a heavy duty electrical circuit for a True Mfg 3-door glass-door merchandiser?
Q: Does the True GDM-72 freezer plug into a 110 or 220?
A: The True GDM-72F runs on 208 volt power. It comes with a NEMA 14-20 plug and needs a NEMA 14-20 outlet. 208 volt electricity is heavy duty, but it's fairly common. Electric ranges or clothing dryers in a home typically run off this voltage. Here is a picture of what the socket looks like:
If you are uncertain whether you have the correct voltage or already know you don't have it but still need a 3 door freezer merchandiser, check with an electrician. They should be able to tell you if you have the correct voltage or how much it would be to install a new circuit for your food equipment.
True Mfg's 3 door freezer holds a ton of product and keeps it all nice and frozen with an industry leading 1-1/2 horsepower refrigeration system that needs heavy duty electricity.
All of True's glass door merchandisers come with heated triple pane glass that won't fog up or let out the cold.
True Mfg's products also all come with a factory standard 3 year parts and labor warranty and 5 year compressor warranty.
If you just can't figure out a way to get 208 voltage in your location you could also use 3 single door GDM-23F's, but it's going to be a lot more cost effective and energy efficient to get the 1, 3-door freezer.
